Applications are invited from experienced Mathematics specialists to lead our thriving Mathematics department.
As Head of Mathematics, you will have overall responsibility for the professional leadership and management of the Mathematics department. You will ensure high standards of teaching and learning are delivered, resources are used efficiently and effectively, and the curriculum is managed and developed in accordance with school policy.
To be considered for this key role, you will be an inspiring and innovative teacher, with experience of teaching A Level and GCSE Mathematics and the ability to deliver lessons which combine academic rigour, excitement and energy. Leadership skills and the ability to inspire both staff and students to achieve their full potential are equally important.
Mathematics is an important part of the academic curriculum at Brighton Girls, with a large proportion of the Sixth Form continuing their studies at A Level. In addition, Brighton Girls has an excellent track record of success in Further Mathematics.
