A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate, well-qualified and ambitious Teacher or current Head of Mathematics to join the school from 1 September 2020 to lead our large and thriving Mathematics department.
An inspirational teacher and leader, the key responsibilities of this role will include the provision of effective teaching and learning, the monitoring and evaluation of pupils’ work and achievements and to ensure that the department has the leadership and support necessary to build on its already excellent standards. The post-holder will lead a team of thirteen enthusiastic and proactive Mathematicians, with a strong focus on skills development and independent learning. The ability to teach up to A Level and the IB Diploma Programme is essential.
All staff are expected to contribute to the thriving extra-curricular programme on offer at the School.
This is a permanent and full time post and the salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
Accommodation may be available for new staff in a local six-unit property.
