Head of Mathematics

Southchurch High School wishes to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Head of Mathematics.

We require an outstanding practitioner to oversee the co-ordination and strategic leadership of the subject area, leading high-quality teaching of Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 as well as working collaboratively with other subject leads.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating students’ achievements, co-ordinating student interventions along with driving curriculum development and change.

You will ensure that the department has the direction and support necessary to achieve and maintain high standards.
