Job overview

Do you have a genuine love of mathematics? Are you looking for an opportunity to lead one of the top performing mathematics departments in the country?

Then this might be the opportunity for you.

Tes is supporting this Independent Secondary school in the appointment of a Head of Maths in Warwickshire.

They are looking to appoint a dynamic Head of Mathematics who will join the College/School family, and lead and develop the department to become a beacon of excellence in mathematics education.

All students at the College study A-Level mathematics and over three-quarters also study A-level Further Mathematics.

Stretching the students beyond the A-level curriculum is a core part of the schools mission.

They have a strong history of Gold Awards in the UKMT Senior Challenge with a large proportion of students qualifying for BMO1 and BMO2.

Many of the students will be applying for degrees in mathematics and mathematically related subjects, so preparing students for entrance assessments such as MAT/TMUA and STEP alongside preparing them for interviews is a core part of the department’s duties.

All applicants need to have the Right to Work in the UK to be considered for the role.

By applying to this job advertisement you are providing consent for the Tes Recruitment team to propose and discuss your application with the employer.
