The Grange School is undergoing a transformational journey and is actively seeking to appoint a highly motivated teacher to lead mathematics across the school. The Grange School is part of Twynham Learning, an exciting and growing multi-academy trust that includes infant, junior and secondary schools serving the local community.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of superb outcomes as a teacher of mathematics. We are looking for an excellent practitioner who not only loves mathematics but who is keen to learn and to work with great colleagues across our multi-academy trust. Twynham Learning is a member of the Jurassic Maths Hub and takes a lead on many aspects of teaching and learning across the Trust.
This position would suit either a current second in department or an exceptional colleague, new to a leadership role, who recognises the importance of focusing on children’s understanding of mathematics and is familiar with a ‘mastery’ approach.
You will lead your own department at The Grange School whilst enjoying the support of the Director of Mathematics and you would be able to make a significant contribution across our family of schools.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an outstanding professional to join our highly regarded Trust, situated in the heart of Christchurch, on the edge of the New Forest.
