Our Maths team are committed to improving progress and outcomes in the subject as part of the drive to improve the quality of education across the Academy, and have made significant progress under the current Head of Department. We seek a highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead the Department in driving progress, outcomes, and the learning experience. The successful applicant will demonstrate proven leadership skills and have a thorough understanding of how to ensure all students make good and outstanding progress together with a strong track record of achievement. Of most importance will be your ability to inspire and develop a team, and to generate energy and engagement in Maths for all learners. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape our future success.
This post is part of our extended Senior Leadership Team and therefore a range of additional leadership tasks are also expected in this role.

North Kesteven Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Lincolnshire, serving students from the age of 11-18. The Academy is situated in Lincoln.
North Kesteven Academy was founded in 1961 as a grammar school. In 2015 the Academy school was identified as good by Ofsted. It converted to academy status in 2011.
