We are looking to appoint a motivated, flexible, proactive and committed mathematics specialist to head our mathematics department. The successful candidate will be passionate about mathematics, creative, innovative and have strong interpersonal skills. The ability to inspire, nurture and give children confidence in mathematical skills is vital. A willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school is essential, with all staff playing a part in this important aspect of pupil of the experience. You will be required to teach at least one other subject in KS2.

Charlotte House is a small, girls-only prep school, situated in attractive grounds on the residential outskirts of Rickmansworth. Girls join us at three and leave after secondary transfer at 11. The school is non-selective but has high academic standards as one of its primary aims is the successful transfer of girls following 11+. The school has a wonderful reputation locally and is well known for the calibre of its pupils. In addition to our academic approach we place great emphasis on sport, music and drama. It is as a consequence of this that our girls are happy, confident and socially adept.
Charlotte House was originally founded as a PNEU school and as such continues to adhere to PNEU principles, seeing each child as an individual and building strong relationships with parents. With pupil numbers currently standing at 110 it is clear that girls-only preparatory education is still very much in demand.
