Varndean College is a popular and successful Sixth Form College based in Brighton.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding and experienced teacher who will relish taking on responsibility for our Mathematics department, as well as being an Assistant Head of School within our School of Maths and Science.
You will have the enviable opportunity to help shape, lead and develop Mathematics across our College and to develop the School of Maths and Science as a whole.
To be successful, you will:
- be a qualified specialist teacher of Mathematics with the ability to teach A Level and passionate about developing it;
- ideally have the ability to teach Further Mathematics;
- have successful teaching experience in the post-16 sector;
- have successfully managed a programme, including management of staff and students.
You will be joining a keen, enthusiastic and developing team. Their commitment to providing the highest quality Mathematics experience for all is without question and we need someone who will only help to make this better.
The current Head of Maths is also the Assistant Head of School for Maths and Science.
