Required from September 2020 the Governors of St Angela’s Ursuline School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and dynamic leader with a proven track record of success at KS3, 4 & 5 to lead our large Maths department to the next stage of its development.
The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and lead colleagues with passion and a commitment to enhancing the achievement in Maths for students of all abilities
St Angela’s Ursuline is an ‘outstanding’ heavily over- subscribed catholic girl’s school with a large mixed sixth form where Maths is extremely popular and many students advance to university in this subject.
This is an excellent opportunity to undertake a key leadership role and shape a department of committed staff to excellence in all areas, especially at Advanced Level.

St Angela's Ursuline School is a voluntary aided school based in Newham in London for girls aged 11-18. It is a Roman Catholic school.
The school was built in 1862 by the sisters of the Ursuline order, inspired by the vision of their founder and the school’s namesake.
