A fantastic opportunity to teach at our 3–13 Prep School in the Cotswolds. As the Head of Maths at our Prep School, you will have responsibility for the maths curriculum across KS1,2 and 3 and a teaching responsibility in KS3, lead and manage our Maths team of teachers and collaborate with other College Heads of Department. The objectives for this role will include curriculum development and alignment to our teaching and learning strategy; a great opportunity to be creative and work on your own initiative.

A bit about you:

This would suit a teacher with either maths teaching experience who is looking to progress to middle leadership or an experienced professional looking for a place to develop their skills. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and have the skills to inspire the next generation of mathematicians. You will have a wide range of pedagogical approaches and ability to adapt to support pupils of all abilities. A strong communicator with sound knowledge of up-to-date classroom management techniques and be able stretch our young people to reach their potential.

A bit about the role:

This is a permanent position offered on a full-time basis (Start date April or September 2023). Working hours Monday – Saturday in accordance with terms dates, teaching and duty timetable.

Salary (Wycliffe Teaching Scale depending on chosen pension scheme)

Responsibility Allowance (depending on chosen pension scheme)
