Equally, we take significant steps to ensure staff well-being.  Staff have flexible PPA that allow them to come in late and/or go home early.  Staff are not required to:

• Be a Form Tutor

• Teach PSHE

• Supervise at break and/or lunch duties

• Attend inset after January of each year

• Hold weekly meetings

• Send emails between 6pm-6am daily and across weekends

Experience of highly effective curriculum development, teaching and learning will be essential.  This is an exciting opportunity to develop a department which has achieved a progress 8 score of +1.11 in August 2019. You will be someone who is committed to the development of a stimulating, differentiated and contextualised curriculum, enabling all students to achieve their full potential. In October 2016 we moved into our new school building which has provided us with a 21st century learning environment. Reading Girls’ School is a single sex Foundation School situated in South Reading, open to girls of all abilities with an excellent record of pastoral care.
