We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and committed person to join the school as Head of Mathematics. Our Mathematics Department is fundamental to the success of our school and enjoys dedicated accommodation at the centre of the school. It is expanding rapidly at Advanced level and this is an opportunity for someone to take the lead with driving the team forward to the next exciting stage. An ideal candidate will have:

· An ability to enthuse and engage different types of learners.

· A commitment to ensuring that all pupils achieve and in many cases exceed their targets. 

· An ability to teach to Advanced level

· A proven track record of success in either leading improvements in standards of attainment or leading a Key Stage within the Mathematics Department.

· An ability to lead and inspire a team of 8 dedicated and committed staff

Slough and Eton is a great school and I am immensely proud to have joined it as Headteacher in September 2017.  Pupils and students at Slough and Eton are expected to work extremely hard and are encouraged to achieve their very best in all that they do.  As a result of their tremendous work ethic they achieve extremely well and we are very proud of them.  We believe in educating the whole child and as such place great importance on the many cultural experiences we provide for pupils and students as well as the academic ones.
