We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Head of Media to lead a successful and supportive team. The appointed person will be required to teach across KS4 and KS5, with the ability to teach all ability ranges as well as academic and vocational courses. You will also be responsible for the management of effective and efficient teaching and learning support in key areas of the school. You will conduct regular meetings, professional development and coaching with staff, setting targets and improving performance. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the extra-curricular provision in the Media Department. We have a range of departmental initiatives which provide opportunities for the right candidate to cultivate their creative capabilities.

The Media Department is committed to providing high quality teaching and learning for all students and the post represents an ideal opportunity to work in a happy, friendly and positive environment. The Media Department is highly valued by the school, offering an ambitious curriculum with plans to expand further.  The department is well resourced and exciting, additional improvements to the facilities are underway.
