Copleston High School is a popular 11-18 mixed comprehensive noted for its caring and disciplined atmosphere. It was judged as a 'good school with outstanding features' by Ofsted in April 2013.

Media Studies is taught at KS4 and KS5. There are currently 10 groups in the main school and 2 groups in the sixth form. The department has its own ICT suite and currently delivers OCR media studies to Year 11, Pearson BTEC award in Graphic Media in Years 9 and 10 and at A level WJEC Media studies.
We are looking for an experienced qualified teacher who will be able to:
- build on and develop Media Studies to a high standard
- lead a team of specialist teachers
- show evidence of innovation particularly at A level.
An ability to teach A level Media Studies and Film would be advantageous.
