Vision for Education are supporting this Cheshire based Secondary School with the recruitment of a Head of MFL Teacher to commence in January 2022. The role would be to work in this secondary school with an ethos based on Anglican beliefs but welcome students from all faiths.

Part of an established Trust, The school work in collaboration with others in their MAT, allowing students and staff many opportunities to develop themselves. This is embodied in their vision.

They have a modern, state of the art building, which uses new technologies to support and enrich the learning experience and curriculum. This rich combination ensures that they are able to prepare all  students for the challenges of the future.

This school is looking to appoint a Head of Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish specialism) who will work with the Senior Leadership Team and colleagues throughout the department, to drive continuing improvement in students’ progress in Spanish across Key Stage 3 – 4, as well as the quality of Teaching and Learning within MFL.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who can demonstrate experience of raising attainment in Spanish across Key Stages 3 - 4. You will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and demonstrate high aspirations for our students.

Your role will involve developing best practice in Teaching and Learning within MFL. You should be innovative and willing to lead on a number of initiatives whilst working as part of a team.

You will be a dedicated, talented and enthusiastic individual who is looking for the next step in your career. You will be passionate about Teaching and Learning and developing pedagogical approaches that inspire learners. The ability to be a highly successful team player in a busy, fast-paced environment is essential. You will have the capacity and energy to drive improvement, to lead by example and to develop collaboration within the department.

Their ambition is to grow MFL into the sixth form and be able to offer it as an A Level subject.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to champion the Schools development, by joining us on our exciting journey and helping us to ensure our students receive a world-class education, thereby enabling each child to reach their full potential.
