We are seeking a Head of MFL with the drive and vision to deliver excellence in MFL at a time of changes at GCSE and a rise in importance due to the focus on EBacc subjects. With a clear focus on outstanding outcomes for students, you will ensure effective teaching and learning is in place in MFL and rapidly raise standards at GCSE. 

Outwood Academy Acklam is one of 18 secondary schools in Outwood Grange Academies Trust, it is a warm and welcoming school where students love to learn and are motivated to achieve. Being part of the Trust means that all staff have access to excellent opportunities for professional development at all levels, with scope to build a career across a range of schools. In MFL there is a dedicated team of Directors who provide subject specific CPD and in school support to ensure that quality teaching and learning leads to outstanding outcomes for all students.

Leadership experience is not essential, but applicants must be able to demonstrate the skills required to lead a department.
