We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced French teacher to join our school as Head of MFL. This is a new post as a result of an increase in the time allocated to teaching French in KS3 and the successful post holder will work alongside another teacher to lead on the teaching of French to students from Years 7-11.
The study of a foreign language is not compulsory at GCSE and we do not intend for it to be so but numbers are increasing in KS4 classes. As the new subject leader you will support this growth by ensuring great resources are available and that students have every opportunity to be successful. You will also work closely with our Head of EAL to support those students who are sitting a GCSE in their home language.
