The British International School of Boston (BISB) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Head of Modern Foreign Languages to join us from August 2020, to lead a dedicated team of teachers within the subject. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach throughout the Secondary school, including IGCSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma level. About the role
As a fully qualified teacher, you will need to be: a fluent English speaker, have the ability to teach French and Spanish to a high level, have at least three years teaching experience, be familiar with the National Curriculum for England, IGCSE and IBDP level teaching; In addition, you must be confident working with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.
We seek individuals with high expectations of children's progress and achievements, an ability to demonstrate a commitment and desire to work as part of a team, and who are fully committed to taking an active part in all areas of school life. You will be an excellent communicator and confident with technology, someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents.
