Head of Music

Bede’s, a thriving Prep School on the south coast in Eastbourne, is looking to appoint a new Head of Music from September 2018.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished musician, who is also an inspiring and innovative teacher. In addition, you will be a skilled manager and work closely with our part-time Class Music Teacher and our experienced team of peripatetic teachers in leading the Music department. You will oversee and deliver high class Music lessons from Reception to Year 8, as well as provide some one-to-one lessons in your specialist instrument(s).  

The successful candidate will build on the excellent legacy of previous Directors, yet have the chance to establish their own vision for expanding music within the school.
