We are looking to recruit a full-time Head of Music Teacher in our heavily oversubscribed 4yrs – 18yrs school, which has a reputation for providing outstanding support for staff and students.
The core purpose of this role is to guarantee the continuance and development of our Music department at KS3, KS4 and Primary Phase level. Candidates should have qualified teacher status with a Music specialism and experience as a Head of Music. Candidates will also be required to organise and contribute to the extra-curricular provision within the school to promote Music.
The Music department is part of a well-established Expressive Arts Faculty, which provides numerous opportunities for cross subject enrichment projects and performances, working within a well-established faculty.
As part of the Expressive Arts Faculty we aim to provide a safe, nurturing and creative learning environment for all students across the school. We are a large, innovative and vibrant faculty spread across two sites. Our Faculty leadership structure includes: Head of Faculty, Head of Art, Head of Design, Head of Music and Head of Drama. We benefit from having teachers of all levels of experience, from first year trainees to those with decades of experience. The Expressive Arts faculty is supportive and collaborative; we have high expectations to ensure that our pupils have the very best chances of success. About Edmonton County School
Edmonton County School is a co-educational, non-denominational, community all-through school in Enfield, Middlesex. The school is split across two campuses, with the primary phase located on Bury Street and the secondary facilities on Great Cambridge Road. There are about 1,687 children aged 4-18 on the school roll, 278 of whom attend the sixth form.
