We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic musician with the vision and drive to lead music within our happy, friendly and forward-thinking school that is fully committed to striving for the best in all of our pupils.
Music is at the heart of our school; we have a number of choirs, orchestras and ensembles running throughout the 4 – 11-year age range and all of these groups have the opportunity to perform at a range of concerts and assemblies throughout the year. We also make use of the beautiful St Paul’s Church in Hammersmith for our Christmas Concert and our Summer Prize Evening.
The successful candidate will be leading a thriving music department which comprises the Head of Music, an additional part-time music teacher and our peripatetic staff. The Head of Music will be a skilled practitioner, able to teach music throughout the Primary age range, to bring out the best in our orchestras and choirs, to lead whole school assembly singing practices and to accompany and guide instrumentalists on the piano.
