Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of Music to provide Maternity Cover at a secondary school based in Lambeth.

As Head of Music you will join the Principal and continue to develop the academy together, and thereby realise the ambitions in building an outstanding school. The school are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about education as a means of helping students become cleverer and kinder everyday.

Their ideal candidate will have a proven track record of outstanding teaching in music and securing excellent outcomes. They believe that all students can achieve excellence, no matter what their background and that they all deserve the very best teachers and resources to help them secure the very best qualifications. Accordingly, the Academy offers a rigorous curriculum and a broad enrichment programme for students at all key stages. Music is a particular passion for many of their students and a large number benefit from individual music lessons. 

As a member of their network, you will receive regular CPD, 10 inset days a year, including network best practice sharing days and Academy marking days, and you will work in an award-winning building.
