Head of Music

Broomfield House School is a leading and outstanding Prep School located in Kew Gardens. The school has a rich tradition, is academically ambitious with a forward-thinking approach, putting each child at the very core. 

We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and excellent Head of Music who is an experienced classroom practitioner, who will fully commit to life in a busy London Prep School, who will embrace the school’s core values of Curiosity, Creativity, Courage and Kindness. 

Starting in September, this is a full-time permanent role and offers an exciting opportunity to build further on Broomfield’s excellent musical reputation, leading across the school in strengthening our creative arts offering and inspiring musical performance from Early Years to Year 6.

Teaching music across all key stages, you will be a passionate musician, demonstrating a strong grasp of a range of instruments, experience of leading a choir and preparing children for music scholarships at some of London’s leading senior schools. The school is well equipped with a dedicated music classroom and a large stage area for internal and external performances. Music is extremely popular in school and we are excited about the next phase of its development. 

This role is ideal for a highly organised, experienced and professional music expert who is passionate about making a positive difference to each pupil and the school as a whole.
