About Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy

Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy (LHEA) is a state-funded non-selective, all-ability, non-denominational secondary school, which opened its doors to pupils in September 2014. In January 2019, the school became part of the Slough and East Berkshire C. of E. Multi Academy Trust (SEBMAT).

Our aim is to provide students with a dynamic blend of academic challenge, personal development and enrichment experiences that will nurture their potential, enabling them to become confident, articulate and purposeful members of society.

Our ethos and the great ambitions we hold for every one of our students, enables us to create a thriving community for learning where students are encouraged to excel in all areas of their development: academic, personal and moral.

We believe that discipline, structure and common purpose are solid foundations in life and education and therefore we work closely with parents and families to embed these values both in and beyond school.

Like other free schools we are subject to the same Ofsted inspections as academies and maintained schools; although free schools are given certain freedoms, we are committed to following the national curriculum.

We pride ourselves on the expertise of our teaching staff, a safe and supportive atmosphere for pupils, a broad and balanced curriculum (complemented by a programme of Enterprise and STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and the high standards we expect of our students and ourselves. Our state-of-the-art new building, which opened in April 2017 provides an outstanding and stimulating learning environment to help achieve all of the above, with modern technologies, resources and facilities for our students.
