Head of Nursery Maternity Cover

Head of Nursery Fixed Term Maternity Leave Cover (Term time only) from 1st February 2021

An amazing opportunity for an experienced Nursery Head/ Manager or Deputy (minimum 3 years experience) with high aspirations and excellent organisational skills in our small two floor unique nursery setting in the heart of Marylebone, (Capacity 23)

The nursery has the benefit of being part of the Chatsworth Schools Group, currently 14 schools inclusive of 4 other nursery settings in Parsons Green and Oxfordshire.

The successful applicant for this cover will be passionate and enthusiastic about working with children in all aspects of their care, learning and development, be skilled, professional with an ability to motivate the team, liaise with and report to parents, reporting to and working with the Chatsworth Schools central Office team, Ofsted, and other professionals as necessary and ensure that all legal and statutory requirements are compliant.

You will have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people for whom you are in charge, or with whom you come into contact in the nursery. It is your responsibility to adhere to and ensure compliance with the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy at all times. If at any time you identify and instance that a child or young person is at risk you must report your concerns immediately via the correct channels.

Fixed Term contract – start date from 1st February but negotiable. 

45 hours a week, term time (dates on website) Follows EYFS 

Qualification required – minimum Level 3 but Level 5-7 and EYPS/QTS an advantage

Salary - up to 29.500k dependent on experience.

Closing date: 30th November. Interviews to be held on 1st December at the Nursery.
