An exciting opportunity has become available at Ardvreck School, a popular, busy and well-respected co-educational IAPS independent prep school just outside Crieff, Perthshire. We are seeking an energetic individual to lead our Nursery which, from September, will be in newly refurbished premises within our school’s stunning and extensive grounds.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager, keen to maintain and develop the very best in the education and childcare of up to 30 children aged between 3 and 5. You will have the opportunity to advise and to lead in the planning of the refurbishment and development of beautiful premises to establish the very best Outdoorsie Nursery in the land - which feeds into our well-established and popular, adventure prep school.
As the Nursery Manager, you will be required to become involved in every aspect of the all year round Nursery, ensuring all health, safety and safeguarding standards are met and you must be familiar with the demands and regulations imposed by the Care Inspectorate. You will also need to ensure that all members of the Nursery staff are trained to a high standard, organising training days as and when required. As the manager, you will oversee the whole Nursery ensuring planning and rotas are complete. You will liaise closely with the Headmistress and the school's admissions team and play a vital role in the recruitment of children into the Nursery and in the transition to Ardvreck’s Primary 1.
This is a full-time, permanent post, with a competitive rate of pay.
