Ernest Bevin College is seeking an experienced Head of Operations and Human Resources to join our leadership team. This is a key strategic role and the successful candidate will have responsibility for delivering all non-academic operations for the college. This role will be critical to ensure that the operational functions of the college are delivered to a high standard. The appointed candidate will have the necessary leadership and management skills to ensure continuous school improvement.

The College has leads for Finance, Network Services, and Facilities and you will work collaboratively on planning and implementation to ensure that the College Improvement Plan and Policies are followed and that the appropriate authorisations are sought. The role-holder will manage all support staff through agreed line management including the Site/Premises team, Network Services, Administration, Reprographics, Finance Operations and HR and Governance.

Ernest Bevin College is a vibrant school full of enthusiastic boys, aged 11-19, with a mixed Sixth Form, who are all want to succeed. Based in SW London, it is a school where the staff are dedicated to giving each and every student the education that opens doors to any path they wish to tread in the future.

The college is based in Tooting, close to excellent transport links and has fantastic facilities including a swimming pool and a fitness studio which are used by students, staff and the community.

At GCSE the achievement of our boys outperforms every headline measure of boys for Local Authority Maintained schools. In 2020 our A*-C results at A Level improved by 12% and over 120 students from our mixed Sixth Form took up places at some of the finest universities in the country.
