Priory School is a secondary school for young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities, some have behaviours that challenge. We are looking for an individual who can join our team to lead on the pastoral elements of our provision. 

We are committed to ensuring every student is safe, cared for and has a dedicated team of people to support them in their educational journey through the school. We are committed to supporting parents in the complex and changing world of bringing up a young person with additional needs. Our staff team are integral to that success and we are determined that they work in an environment that is interested in developing them professionally, provides them with opportunities to flourish and supports them to remain mentally well. 

We are looking for an experienced practitioner that understands young people with complex needs, how schools operate and can work under pressure with competing and changing priorities. 

You will have a background in Education, Health, Social Care of Therapy but will have previously worked in a school environment. You will understand safeguarding processes and the need for maintaining an open and transparent ethos where student safety remain the focus in all our decisions.
