Are you passionate about supporting people and driving operational excellence? Do you want to lead HR, Estates, IT and GDPR across a growing Trust in the Liverpool area? If so, we want to hear from you! 

This is an exciting opportunity for you to help support in the transformation of the educational landscape for children aged 2 – 16 across the Trust. You will be at the forefront of making a difference to children’s lives through supporting senior leaders within our academies. 

As Head of People and Operations, you will lead on all aspects of HR, Estates, IT and GDPR across the Trust. You will work closely with our executive leadership team to devise and implement strategies that drive operational excellence and support the development of our staff. 


Key responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the development of our staff and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. 
  • Lead on all aspects of estates management, ensuring that our buildings and facilities are well maintained and meet health and safety requirements. 
  • Oversee our IT infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are reliable and fit for purpose across the Trust. 
  • Lead on GDPR compliance, supporting the Trust’s Data Protection Officer to ensure that our policies and procedures are up to date. 
  • Work closely with our Leadership Team to devise and implement strategies that support the growth and development of the Trust. 


Requirements: 

  • Experience of leading HR, estates and IT functions in a complex environment. 
  • Full working knowledge of relevant policies legislation, codes of practice and guidance relating to HR   
  • Ability to lead projects and implement change in a complex environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role is based at the CMAT offices on Mann Island, Regus in Liverpool, however you will be expected to travel to visit the academies across the Trust as required.
