Are you an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of performing Arts?
Governors of this small, friendly and welcoming school are seeking to appoint an excellent Head of Performing Arts with a specialism in music, who is passionate about promoting a love for music to students inside and outside of the classroom and across our whole school community.
This is a great opportunity for either an established music teacher or an NQT to share their passion and skills with students at all levels of ability and understanding.
A commitment to the wider education of pupils through extra-curricular activities is an expectation.
This role is currently 0.8 but full-time can be considered
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.

St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic High School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school without sixth form situated in Blackbrook, St Helens, Merseyside. It is a voluntary-aided state school under the Diocese of Liverpool.
St Augustine of Canterbury opened in October 1991. A smaller than average secondary school, it provides 750 places for students between the ages of 11 and 16 when fully subscribed.
