Head of Physical Education

It is an exciting time to join Bournside school and our popular and oversubscribed school continues to go from strength to strength.

We are seeking to employ a well organised and fully committed candidate to lead our exceptional physical education (PE) department. PE and sport is highly valued at our school and the position arises due to the internal promotion of our current Head of PE. Our PE department has established itself as one of the very best in the county with outstanding results in the classroom and on the sports field. The successful candidate must be an excellent classroom practitioner who is able to teach both examinable and non examinable PE up to and including key stage 5. We currently offer core PE at key stage 3 and 4, AQA GCSE PE to years 10 and 11 and OCR A level PE in our thriving sixth form.  This curriculum offer is supplemented by an extensive range of extra-curricular opportunities that is on offer to all of our students.
