Ashmole Academy Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance.  The trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school.

Ashmole Academy has a forward looking and innovative approach to all areas of school life and demand high standards of achievement. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community with strong support from Governors and Parents and a dedicated and highly motivated team of staff. We currently have approximately 1600 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 330.  Our examination results are consistently outstanding and the Academy remains heavily oversubscribed every year. 

We are looking to appoint an ‘Outstanding’ and experienced subject leader of Physics to join a very strong and effective Science department.   The successful candidate will have a proven record of success achieving outstanding results. This post is from September 2019. 

Science is a major strength of the school and the science department has a proven track record of success.  A large proportion of students at GCSE study triple science.  Physics is a popular A level with approximately 63 pupils in the 6th Form studying A level Physics.    The 6th Form has a strong science base with a large proportion of pupils going on to study a science related degree.
