Head of Pre and Primary School

The school is currently seeking to appoint a Head of Pre and Primary School, for an immediate or January 2020 start, based in Antwerp.

Responsibilities include:

• Leadership of the Pre and Primary Section
• Continual improvement of student learning
• Ensuring a clear and progressive curriculum
• Student personal and social development
• Student behavior management
• Liaising with parents
• Widely and effectively communicating successes
• Contributing to the leadership and development of the whole school as a member of the Leadership Team
• Functioning as Acting School Director when required
• Teaching

Essential:

• Relevant qualifications and experience
• Knowledge and experience of international curricula (IPC a plus)
• High level working knowledge of student learning, assessment and curriculum
• Demonstrated commitment to student personal and social development
• High performance expectations
• Proven team management skills
• Drive and confidence
• Excellent communication skills
