Applications are invited for the position of Head of Prep School, to succeed Andrew Moore who retires after 18 years of excellent service. The position is available to start in April or September 2018 to suit the right candidate.
West Buckland Prep School is a Nursery and day Prep School of around 150 boys and girls aged 3 – 11, situated in separate buildings on the West Buckland School campus. The thriving Prep School has its own special character based on traditional values juxtaposed with a progressive understanding of child development.
The Governors seek to appoint an exceptional individual who is well-qualified, forward-thinking, experienced and energetic and can build on West Buckland Prep’s current success with inspiration and vision. The ability to introduce fresh thinking and innovative ideas will be seen as a major asset.
The position will suit someone currently working at a senior level and with a vision for creating an inspiring and fun learning environment. An understanding of how a prep school works within a through-school structure is important.
