Due to an interstate promotional opportunity and relocation of the incumbent, Redlands is now seeking a full-time Head of Preparatory School (P-2) commencing in Term Two 2020 (or earlier by negotiation) on a maximum term basis until the end of Term Four 2020 with the possibility to extend.

The role requires an experienced leader with a vision and passion for early childhood education to build upon the excellent work of the current Head of Preparatory School and will enjoy an exceptional reputation in the Sydney education community.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the Redlands Senior Executive team and provide leadership, direction and supervision of the academic, pastoral and daily life of over 400 students in Kindergarten to Year 2 and a Preschool/Transition program.

Redlands has a strong team culture and the position works in collaboration with the two other Heads of Section (Junior and Secondary School) and the Deputy Principal to ensure a high quality, seamless educational offering for Redlands students. The position reports to the Principal and is supported by the Dean of Students (P-6), Dean of Administration (P-6) and Dean of Teaching and Learning (P-6).  

The successful applicant will be an experienced educator, with specific experience in early years education and possessing a contemporary approach to early childhood and primary schooling. They will be a team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who can build relationships throughout the Redlands community and have a willingness to engage in the vibrancy of life at Redlands.
