Head of Primary and Early Years

Florence Bilingual School is a bilingual school with four sections: a Preschool with 3 sections in each of two locations; a Primary School; a Middle School and a developing High School. 

FBS is an Italian/English school that was founded in 1973 and is accredited by Cambridge International Education, promoting an educational approach and curriculum aimed at the development of each student’s confidence, creativity and autonomy. The school also teaches the Italian national curriculum. 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Primary and Preschool to join the leadership team. They will be responsible for all aspects of leadership and day-to-day management of the Primary and Preschool and will lead staff and students in a culture of respect, dignity, equality and excellence. The Head of Primary and Preschool will forge strong relationships with the whole school community, improve teaching and learning, along with encouraging a safe and caring environment. 

You must: 

- hold a valid visa for the EU or citizenship to be able to work in the EU. 

- be flexible and able to adjust to different ways of doing things. 

-have experience of living and working in Italy.
