Suitable candidates for this post will:
- Lead the planning and development of the Primary school and take charge of its day-to-day operations
- Have a proven track record of teaching and leading successfully at Primary Level
- Foster a culture of high standards that aims to bring out the best in every member of the school
- Ensure the Primary school is properly staffed with the highest possible calibre professionals.
- Lead the Primary school through future inspections
- Work closely with colleagues on the Senior Leadership Team to strategically improve the school
- Provide clear and positive leadership in an exciting, developing school.
- Have experience of leading curriculum innovation and development.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leadership across a primary school and will possess the ability, energy and aspiration to lead a team in pursuit of the highest educational standards through curriculum innovation and development. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly capable educator to lead a growing team.
Remuneration includes a competitive salary, relocation allowance and bursaries for accompanying children. The school and BSF provide strong opportunities for ongoing professional development.

The British International School of Marbella was established in August 2009. The school has experienced steady growth and it has now grown to incorporate EYFS, Primary and Secondary School to Key Stage 4. In 2020 the school will relocate to a state of the art purpose built campus with outstanding facilities.

History and Ethos
The British International School of Marbella (BISM) is one of the leading international schools in Marbella offering contemporary British international education to students in Early Years, Primary and Secondary education. Since opening in 2010, BISM has become the school of choice for expatriate and Spanish parents looking to provide their children with highest levels of education.

Location and Facilities
In June 2020 the school moved into a brand new, state of the art campus in the Nagueles region of Marbella. A purpose built Foundation Stage Campus opens in August 2024.
