Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an excellent Head of Primary to lead the Primary department of the school. The position begins on the 17th August 2020 and the contract being offered is permanent.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate would be fully qualified (with QTS) and have a minimum of five years’ experience of teaching the National Curriculum. They will have management experience preferably at Head of Primary level and be ready for a new challenge.
Able to drive excellence by valuing and developing others, you will have extensive experience of both hands-on teaching and management in education. This means you will be fully up to date with curriculum developments. Strong on leadership and people management, you will have a flair for setting and meeting challenging performance targets.
THE SCHOOL
Oakley College is a private, co-educational school situated on the outskirts of Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria. We follow the British National Curriculum from Nursery to the Sixth Form.
