We require, for September 2018, a well-qualified and dynamic Subject Leader to join and lead a progressive, effective and high-achieving RE Department in this high performing and outstanding school; attainment is in the top 10 % of schools nationally. The salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s experience. An SLT secondment may be available for the right candidate.
One of the key roles of the post is to oversee the continued strength of RE in the school and ensure our Catholic ethos is not only delivered in lessons but embedded throughout the wider school.
You will take responsibility for the development of the RE curriculum and for establishing, monitoring and evaluating the quality and standards of provision in relation to student performance, progression and learning.
You will also ensure outstanding provision for all learners and take a lead role in the pursuit of excellence of achievement and attainment in the subject, additionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Catholic ethos of the school.
