The school is under new leadership and joined United Learning in October 2016. This position provides the ideal opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic middle leader with vision to help shape an ethos of care, respect, high achievement and challenge. The last Ofsted inspection in 2015 judged the school as ‘requiring improvement’ but the school has already started its journey of rapid progress and we are confident in being an outstanding school in the future. In one year results have increased dramatically from 40% to 67% of students gaining 5+ good passes including English and Maths and the Progress 8 score has improved from -0.45 to +0.34.
As Head of RE you will be responsible for the teaching and learning, outcomes and continuous development of the department. You can also expect to play a strategic leadership role in the academy’s future as this is a position we feel is crucial to our transformational journey.
