Newman Catholic School is seeking a person with ambition, innovation and drive to inspire students in this popular subject within our school. This subject is taught to all students at GCSE with Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics taught at A-level.

The successful applicant will be a well-qualified outstanding practitioner who will engage and enthuse students to reach their full potential and be able to provide evidence of being baptised and practising Catholic.

About St John Henry Newman Catholic School

St John Henry Newman Catholic School is a mixed, non-selective Roman Catholic school with sixth form in Cumbria serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Carlisle has approximately 612 students on record. It is administered by Cumbria County Council and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lancaster, and part of the Carlisle Secondary Learning Consortium.

St John Henry Newman Catholic School offers students the option of studying BTEC programmes along with GCSE and A-levels.
