On behalf of the Academy Committee, we are seeking an inspirational Head of Religious Education who is a practising Catholic to lead on the Catholic ethos of the school and provide professional leadership and management for our RE department.
The Head of RE will actively promote the distinctive Catholic nature and ethos of the school with colleagues, pupils and parents and be responsible for providing a high quality educational experience for all students to raise the levels of attainment and achievement.
Cardinal Wiseman is an 11-18 school in the north-east of Coventry which is on a journey of improvement. The school’s A-Level results were the best in the city in 2016, and students achieved 73% grades 9-4 for English in Summer 2017.
This post is instrumental in providing the lead in the Catholic life of the school and you must be a practising Catholic.
