We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Head of Religious Studies with a 'student achievement' focus and a proven track record of rapidly and sustainably raising academic standards in Religious Studies to join our Humanities Faculty from January 2019.
Raine’s Foundation School is a successful Voluntary Aided Church of England School in Bethnal Green. We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Religious Studies to lead a strong, creative department. Religious Studies is a popular subject with our students at all levels with the school
You will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and must be able to demonstrate the talent, interpersonal and leadership skills required to inspire and motivate students and colleagues.
Above all you must have a passion for your subject and be able to embed an enjoyment of Religious Studies in your lessons.
You will teach across all key stages and play a key role in the future of the schools Religious Studies curriculum.
If you have high expectations of all learners and the ability to build on recent improvements achieved by the current Head of Department, we would welcome your application.
