Salary: Outer London Main/Upper Pay Range
TLR: 2/2: £4,597 per annum
We are looking for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic full time Head of Religious Studies to join our over-subscribed school with a thriving Sixth Form. We require someone who can teach Religious Studies to KS3 and KS4 and there is also a possibility of KS5 teaching.
This is a fantastic role for an individual who is committed to inspiring and motivating students through their innovative and engaging teaching. This role is suitable for an experienced teacher who is looking for their first middle leadership opportunity with the chance to grow the department.

The trust provides excellent subject-level support and leadership CPD through the NPQML and NPQSL programmes. The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria:
• QTS;
• a broad base of subject knowledge;
• the ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5;
• a clear vision for a knowledge-rich curriculum;
• the ability to employ a range of teaching and learning
strategies;
• the ability to maintain good classroom behaviour;
• effective interpersonal skills and the desire to work
• effectively as part of a team;
• ability to demonstrate suitability to work with children
and young people.
