'Moving Malorees Junior School forward to ensure we THRIVE'
Malorees Junior School is seeking an inspiring, experienced and enthusiastic school leader to join our committed leadership team in striving to move the school out of its Ofsted 'requiring improvement' category. Significant improvements have been made and we now need a strong leader to drive forward improvements, in all areas working collaboratively and in close partnership with our Executive Head teacher and senior leaders across both schools.
This is an exciting time of change and innovation as we are in the process of establishing a federation to take effect from April 2017 with our neighbouring Infant school. We are a forward looking school that has many strengths which include spacious and appealing grounds, strong music tradition and creative curriculum within a vibrant and inclusive school community.
Malorees Junior School has a clear vision to raise standards, accelerate progress and levels of achievement and to improve outcomes for children. The successful candidate will support the Executive Headteacher in achieving the outstanding outcomes to which we aspire. The role presents an exceptional opportunity for professional and career development and will undoubtedly offer a fast track route to Headship for the right applicant.
Informal visits to the school are strongly encouraged.
Closing date: Monday 5 December 2016
Interviews: Monday 12 December 2016
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The appointment will be subject to pre-employment checks, including satisfactory Enhanced Level DBS clearance.
