The Directors of Carmel Education Trust would like to invite applications from Deputy Headteachers and existing Headteachers to the role of Head of School at two primary schools within the Trust: Holy Family RC Primary School, Darlington and St Gregory’s Catholic Academy, Stockton.
This is an exciting time to join Carmel Education Trust and an opportunity to contribute to our Leadership Team as we review and restructure leadership and governance across the Trust.
We would welcome applications from candidates interested in either or both Schools and in addition, there may be an opportunity for an Executive Headteacher role within our revised leadership model.

St Gregory’s is a mixed, non-selective, Roman Catholic primary school with nursery situated in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. It is part of Carmel Education Trust, a multi-academy trust which supports six other Christian academy schools in the UK and aims to provide a practical and moral purpose to the furthering of education. An average-sized primary school, St Gregory’s will provide a total of 266 places to students aged 3-11 when fully subscribed.
In March 2013, Carmel College converted to become a multi-academy trust under the name Carmel Education Trust; St Gregory’s opened as an academy converter in April.
