About the role:

The Centre for Lifelong Learning is seeking a Head of School for its successfully developing range of programmes in the Professional Services (Accountancy, Financial Services and Human Resources) and its long established Access to Higher Education pathways in Humanities and Business. With an appropriate teaching qualification and relevant subject knowledge, you will lead a team of dedicated academic and vocational staff to provide life changing opportunities for adult returners to education to progress to employment or higher education. You will have proven experience of successful team and curriculum management, and able to provide learners with exceptional quality teaching and learning

About you:

With a recognised teaching qualification and educated to Degree level, you will have relevant teaching and tutoring experience with adult returners to education, preferably at Access to Higher Education level. You will have subject specialist knowledge in Business, Accountancy, Humanities or Human Resources and successful course or team leadership experience involving the co-ordination of curriculum development and innovation.

This exciting development will help secure City and Islington’s future at the forefront on skills training in London and widen opportunities for both its staff and students.
