London's leading College is seeking for an exceptional Head of School for English, Maths and Skills
About the role: We are seeking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic Head of School for English, Maths & Skills to provide leadership and direction for learning and teaching, curriculum development and the provision of a high quality learner experience. You will provide effective leadership, ensuring consistent efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service to learners and act as first line manager for allocated staff; ensuring that staff are effectively managed, deployed and developed and that the College’s strategic and operational targets are achieved. This is a management role within the Centre Management Team contributing to the strategic management and development of all aspects of Centre and College operations.
About you: With a degree or equivalent and qualified teacher status, you will have extensive quality, teaching and tutorial experience especially with the 14 – 19 and 19+ age groups, both in full time education and employment. You will have successful management experience of curriculum teams and evidence of having led on change/curriculum innovation, especially in relation to English, Maths & Skills provision. You must have excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire staff and students.
