Required: January 2019

Salary range: Leadership Scale (L24-L28) + Healthcare package

The Ongar Academy is looking for a successful Head of School with considerable experience in secondary education who knows what outstanding provision and academic progress looks like. We want a collaborator, who not only will work closely with the trust, but has a genuine desire to work openly and collectively with the local Ongar primary schools, who are also part of Bridge Academy Trust.

Are you the talented individual we are looking for who shares our passion for education and wants to make a real difference for the people of Ongar? With a clear strategic vision, you will navigate the changing educational landscape with the full support of the CEO & Executive Headteacher, the Local Governing Body and the Trustees.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced deputy headteacher to take up their first headship role, or for an existing headteacher looking to work collaboratively in a supportive trust. The Ongar Academy is only three years old and already has been judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in May 2018.

We encourage you to contact our CEO & Executive Headteacher, Mark Farmer for further information and/or to arrange a visit to the school on farmerm@bridgeacademytrust.org

Timescales:

Please enclose a letter to support your application that highlights your suitability and preparation for this position and your personal educational philosophy and vision.

Closing date for applications: 3pm on Monday 8th October 2018
