The Directors of Community First Academy Trust, seek applications from outstanding school leaders with integrity, imagination and energy for this rewarding role. 

We are looking for a talented senior leader to provide professional leadership and management to one of our primary academies that will promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of the school’s work. This role would be an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Headteacher, Head of School or Headteacher. 

Platt Bridge Community School and Start Well Family Centre provide Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), KS1 and KS2 education for 3 - 11 year olds. Children aged 3 are cared for in an onsite maintained Nursery. Our Start Well Family Centre is open for 51 weeks of the year and provides support and activities to help parents, carers and childcare providers give children under five the 'best start in life'. The school is committed to achieving extremely high standards in all aspects of its work and for all pupils.

This is a high-profile role for an inspirational individual. The role of Head is a testing one and the support you receive, we feel, is crucial. You will work alongside an experienced Executive Headteacher, who will help shoulder the responsibility whilst enabling the school to be yours. Both the Executive Head, the CEO and the Trust Central Team will support you in your role. 

You will need to have a track record of addressing performance, driving challenge and raising the standards and aspirations of all members of a school community. You will need the tenacity and integrity to deliver in challenging circumstances and the ability to communicate a vision that inspires, motivates and enthuses staff, children and the community as a whole. Previous experience of managing change and working collaboratively to deliver school improvement is essential. 

The successful candidate will work in any of the schools/academies within our family of schools as directed by the Chief Executive.
